Analyzed Oil samples for contamination using Particle count LASERs, Fourier Transform LASERs, Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP-OES), and Viscosity Tanks.
Davey Resource Group, USA — Utility Systems Technician

Used software based on ArcGIS and a Trimble GPS to map power lines and other electric utility equipment. Worked on my own most of the time requiring me to be self-motivated while moving through often rough terrain either on foot or on an ATV. Interacted with the public on a daily basis when I needed to access private property. Received multiple QTC awards for safety, productivity, and quality of work. Job was 100% travel. Had temporary assignments in Utility Forestry. Worked in Oregon, Kansas, Napa Valley, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Washington, and Missouri.

Led weekly tours relating to Geology and the Geologic Sciences for groups of 1o about 20 individuals of varying ages. Answered questions on the subject from the group and shared my passion for Geology with the children on the tours.
