Managed special projects in the lab and worked on Grease and Fuel analysis, in addition to working on maintenance of equipment around the lab.

Oil Analysis Lab, Spokane, WA — Lab Technician

May 2020-November 2022

Analyzed Oil samples for contamination using Particle count LASERs, Fourier Transform LASERs, Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP-OES), and Viscosity Tanks.

Davey Resource Group, USA  Utility Systems Technician

September 2017-September 2019

Used software based on ArcGIS and a Trimble GPS  to map power lines and other electric utility equipment. Worked on my own most of the time requiring me to be self-motivated while moving through often rough terrain either on foot or on an ATV. Interacted with the public on a daily basis when I needed to access private property. Received multiple QTC awards for safety, productivity, and quality of work. Job is 100% travel. Had temporary assignments in Utility Forestry. So far have worked in Oregon, Kansas, Napa Valley, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Washington, and Missouri.

UW Geology Museum, Madison, WI — Tour Guide

Led weekly tours relating to Geology and the Geologic Sciences for groups of 1o about 20 individuals of varying ages. Answered questions on the subject from the group and shared my passion for Geology with the children on the tours.

Learned hands-on construction skills – carpentry, window installation, roofing, flooring, framing, and demolition. Worked in a team with other contractors.

Pres House, Madison, WI Volunteer A/V Technician

April 2015 – May 2017

Set up and operated various audio and visual equipment for weekly church services of about 30-40 people with events up to 100 people. Trained about 15 personnel in operation of equipment and worked closely with band members and pastors.

Set up and operated various equipment for weekly live audio productions for 250-300 people as well as diagnosing problems and coordinating equipment purchases. Worked closely with band members, speakers, and other technicians.
